![]() ![]() (We were taking advantage of an older set of WebKit APIs provided by Apple, and a regression in Safari 11 causes over-eager painting of the screen whenever any action is taken in RStudio, and those over-eager paints are slow and lead to the lagginess you're seeing). Unfortunately, to fix this issue we effectively have to re-write a significant chunk of our desktop code. They say that when they make the next big release, it should be fixed.
